Members of the Westboro Baptist Church based in Kansas and labeled a racist hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, recently were in Los Angeles and San Diego, California to espouse their extreme views of hate against Jews, homosexuals, President Obama, America, Catholic priests and others. Known for protesting memorial services for US veterans, the group demonstrated in front of the Hillel center at UCLA, two Jewish high schools, Theodore Roosevelt High School in East LA and Sinai Temple in Westwood.
